MIB was selected as the main guest team for Mnet’s new program W Military Academy Season 2. The first episode of the show will air on March 21. This will be the first time for MIB to appear as main regular guests for a variety show since its debut.
W Military Academy Season 2 will be shown in a different format from regular reality shows that closely follow stars’ every move. MIB’s members are admitted to W Military Academy, a training center for global stars, for an 8-week hard training.
On the show, MIB might face a great deal of trouble to become real ‘idol’ stars through a hard training. On the Season 1 of the show, Boyfriend has gained popularity by revealing their pure, playful attractions in an outspoken way. Through their appearance on the Season 2 of this show, MIB is planning to improve people’s recognition for their hip-hop signing group.
On March 20, MIB’s agency delivered the message of MIB’s members: “It is true that we are shouldering heavy responsibility in single-handedly leading this variety show. It must be a great chance for us to show off our special appeals. We’ll try to approach closer to fans through our candidness.”
MIB comes out with a new album on April 5.
