Sistar's Dasom Reveals Their Dorm Once Caught On Fire
Posted by Venus Warrior at 10:06 AM
SISTAR’s Dasom told a funny episode about fire at their dorm.
At a recent press conference in Seoul at the Hyatt Hotel, Dasom revealed, “Members enjoy late snack often, and while eating a late night snack one day, we smelled smoke. However, we thought a fried dumpling was getting cooked, and didn’t care much. However, the smell got worse, and the members started looking for the source of the smell. The smell was coming out from the new oven, and it was found that Soyu turned it on without realizing it.”
She continued, “There was a manual inside the oven, and it was on fire, and as soon as we opened the oven, the smoke filled up the kitchen. Such an unexpected situation showed each members’ character. I panicked and got almost frozen on the spot, and ended up opening the window and yelled ‘Help!’. Soyu, who caused the fire, calmly brought a glass of water and killed the fire.”
However, while talking about Bora’s reaction, Bora and Dasom told two different stories. Dasom said, “Bora was so scared and didn’t do anything,” but Bora said, “I was helping putting the fire off with Soyu.”
Hyorin’s reaction was the funniest, and it is said that she was excited and started taking photos with her cell phone. Hyorin said, “It wasn’t even a fire. It was a small flame. That was a lot of fun.”

She said "I was very nervous as my acting partner was Eun Ji Won subaenim. There was a huge age difference but I just had to treat him as a friend in the show. Honestly, my thoughts were frozen"
"Since Eun Ji Won sunbaenim looks young, I had not much worries. But rather I had worries about how I should act infront of sunbaenim "
"Luckily I took on the role of a Busan girl. Since my hometown is in Busan, I am confident of my saturi acting.
Not even in my dreams have I thought of being able to be a singer and an actress. I am just moving on and holding on to my dreams as a vocal trainer... it's really fascinating" and she laughed.

Shinhwa’s Jun Jin determined to perform in China despite back surgery
Posted by Venus Warrior at 9:03 AM
Jun Jin of the ’90s boy band Shinhwa - currently on its Asian tour - will be on plenty of medication when he performs in Guangzhou, China, on June 30.
Despite having had microscopic nerve decompression surgery on a lumbar disc in his back on Tuesday, Shinhwa said that Jun Jin will continue with “The Return” tour, which saw his band tour five cities in Asia to date.
Jun Jin has suffered from chronic back pain in the past and although he was in pain, he maintained a professional front by taking part in the group’s reunion tour around Asia, which kicked off on March 24 in Seoul.
His condition worsened despite his medication due to the nature of his performing, prompting him to seek medical help and subsequent surgery. The doctor who performed the surgery on Jun Jin said that it was a good thing that the singer was treated before it was too late.
“If untreated, it’s possible that the lower half of his body may become paralyzed,” said the surgeon who also suggested that Jun Jin needed rest and physical therapy for the next six weeks.

Posted by Venus Warrior at 8:56 AM
On the upcoming 30th June episode of jTBC’s Shinhwa Broadcast, the rookie manager for Shinhwa leader Eric shares his grievances and unhappiness in the 3rd part of the ‘God of MT’ special.
During the recording of the episode, the Shinhwa members played a game of dodgeball against their managers, with the prize being a sumptuous dinner menu of Chuncheon specialities like dakgalbi and buckwheat noodles.
Before the game however, the managers aired their grievances about the members, resulting in a tense psychological battle between the two teams. In particular, Eric’s usually meek and quiet rookie manager (Kim Bogeun) also shared his unhappiness with Eric, surprising the members in the process.
He poured out his grievances about the blunt and curt ways of Eric, who was embarrassed and unable to defend himself. The other members took the opportunity to reproach Eric, passing remarks like “that’s really mean”, “how could you do that?”
This episode will be aired on 30 June at 10.55pm (KST).
