LG Electronics Korea announced on January 16th that popular girl group, Girls’ Generation, were chosen to be the new models for their Cinema 3D TV brand.
Through this new collaboration, LG hopes to merge the rising global popularity of Girls’ Generation together with its Cinema 3D TV, and improve the latter’s image as a consumer-friendly product for the masses.
In the coming months, LG will be pushing out their new marketing campaign with their existing model, Won Bin, and new models Girls’ Generation.
A LG PR personnel expressed, “We hope that by partnering with Girls’ Generation, who are enjoying a rising global popularity at the moment, it would help LG to boost its 3D TV image as well.”
