IU began the new year with a fresh, new hairdo!
At this week’s KBS Music Bank (1/6/12), IU performed her popular hit ‘You and I,’ while sporting a much shorter hairstyle. This day, IU showed off a much younger-looking image, after chopping off her long, straight hair. This cutesy new look drove IU’s “uncle fans” even more wild.
After seeing today’s performance, netizens began to wonder if IU had really cut off her hair, or if she was just wearing a wig for stage performance. They left various comments including:
“Short hair suits her very well.”
“Now that she’s legally an adult, is she going for an image transformation?”
“This reminds me of Snow White.”
“Is that a wig? Regardless, she looks adorable.”
“I think she looks prettier with longer hair.”
Meanwhile, IU once again came in 1st place at today’s KBS Music Bank, beating tough competition like SNSD. This was IU’s 5th consecutive week of victory.
