Recently, idol group TEEN TOP won their very first #1 on KBS Music Bank with their latest single, “Going Crazy“.For TEEN TOP, who debuted in July of 2010 with their first single ‘Clap‘, the achievement took them exactly 564 days after their debut. Entertainment companies have been receiving much attention thanks to the influence of the Hallyu wave. With companies like YG Entertainment entering the KOSDAQ, many are looking forward to what new companies will be rising to the top alongside SM, YG, and JYP.

It’s still considered a bit early to talk about the ‘post Big 3′ but entertainment companies are busily putting out several idol team units each, lending the prediction that there will be a new batch of talented contenders come three to five years.

Amidst that, the ‘Cho PD team’ has been earning attention for their strong foundation just two short years into their creation.

Miss $ released a new album on November 22nd and managed to rank at the top of digital music charts, placing first on Soribada and second on Dosirak. In addition, idol team Block B, who debuted back in April, has been making an exceptional mark despite being rookies, recording their album at the top in sales.

Block B also sold out 2,500 seats in Tokyo alone during their four city nationwide tour in September, and was also invited to a TV program in Taiwan, standing on stage with other top stars from Asia.

Although they have low public recognition because of the rarity they show themselves on public networks, they’re regarded as having a strong fandom that will hopefully aid in bringing them into the public spotlight with their upcoming comeback.

Block B’s Jaehyo has also been earning much popularity as a new face in ‘Dream Team’ while P.O. has been having his variety talents recognized through ‘Death Camp 24 Hours’.

Leader Zico received attention for his duet stage with HyunA and was recently chosen to MC SBS MTV’s new program. Main vocalist Taeil enjoyed the public spotlight by performing alongside their mentor, Cho PD, for his comeback as well.

On top of all of this, CEO Cho PD became a fixed panelist of a variety show for the first time since his debut on MBC’s ‘Sunday Sunday Night’ alongside Kim Gun Mo, raising anticipation as to what he’ll bring to the table.

Next year, the company will also be seeing the debut of their talented girl group EvoL as well as a comeback by Superstar K contestant Jung Seul Gi.

Industry representatives are looking forward to who will rise as the next strongest company alongside the ‘Entertainment Big 3′.
