Recently, on an online community forum appeared a series of photos featuring female stars’ abused feet from kill heels. The photos show IU, 4minute’s HyunA, SISTAR’s Bora and KARA’s Goo Hara, revealing their bare feet. Female entertainers including girl group members usually wear high heels in order to make their legs look longer and prettier as well as make the figure appear more beautiful.

Wearing these kill heels for hours is quite painful as they seem swollen or appear to have band aids all over covering the blisters. Some stars are captured with pain-relief bandages and patches on their calves to relieve pain and stress from their tired muscles. Netizens commented, “How could such bad things be happening to such young girls”, “It must hurt so much” and “They have no choice because they need their legs to look pretty.”

An online community posted pictures with the caption, “Entertainers who always pose the same way.”

The pictures feature Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung, T-ara’s Soyeon and Ji Yeon, IU, B2ST’s Yoon Du Jun, and Brown Eyed Soul’s Naul. Whenever Kang takes self portraits, she pulls her hair back to her right side. Soyeon takes self portraits of the left side of her face and Ji Yeon opens her mouth while taking self portraits.IU makes the V sign and Yoon always looks like he is surprised at something.

Each star has a unique pose and Naul is drawing the public’s attention by ranking the entertainers who always pose the same way.

The members of 2AM guest-featured on ‘Radio Star‘ and revealed the list of artists that rose to fame after being cut from JYP Entertainment.

On the March 7th episode of MBC‘s ‘Radio Star’, 2AM’s Jo Kwon selected 2NE1‘s “I Am The Best” as a song he was envious of.

“CL was once a JYP trainee,” he revealed, surprising the MCs on set. Fellow member Seulong added, “Why we let her go is one of the many mysteries at our office.”

The members also revealed that IU was one singer that J.Y. Park was kicking himself for letting her get away. “J.Y. Park hit the ground in regret,” the boys stated. “Previously, he mentioned that he was going to find out who had cut IU.”

In addition, the group also revealed that B2ST‘s Yoon Doojoon, KARA‘s Goo Hara, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, SECRET‘s Song Ji Eun, and more were also once JYP trainees.

Although the ‘2012 KMA (Korean Music Awards)‘ will be happening one week from today, the results for the Netizens’ Choice awards were released ahead of time.

he awards ceremony will be held on February 29th, recognizing various artists in a variety of categories, a few of which will be determined by netizens’ votes.

Netizens were able to vote for their favorite female and male artist, as well as their favorite group from January 18th through February 17th.

Verbal Jint clinched the #1 spot as the netizens’ choice of male artist with 1,193 votes out of the 5,228 votes cast. Meanwhile, IU was chosen as the top female artist with 2,986 votes out of the 4,527!

As for the netizens’ favorite group, a fierce battle royale between many of the industry’s top stars fought for the title, but in the end, ‘trend idols’ INFINITE came out on top with 9,311 votes out of the 24,424 cast!

Recently after graduating from high school, IU managed to find some time her busy schedule and spend some quality moments with her family.

On February 13th, A LOEN Entertainment representative informed SBS E! Entertainment News that following the graduation ceremony, IU had several schedules to attend to, but managed to spend some precious time with her family afterwards. The representative continued and added that since IU was unable to attend class regularly; being able to graduate with her friends was a really special occasion for her.

IU was also recently chosen as the ambassador for the National Police Agency on February 10th. Through her role as an ambassador, IU hopes to create stronger bonds between students, schools, and the police in Korea.

Singer IU revealed her secret on how to take a good graduation photo.

The February 13th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Happy Day‘ revealed scenes from IU’s graduation. In particular, IU’s graduation photo was revealed during the recording, showing off her pure charms in her uniform.

When asked to reveal the ‘know-hows of a good graduation picture’, IU stated, “I tilted my head slightly when taking the picture. When I did that, it seemed to turn out prettier.”

IU also revealed, “I regret making only a few memories with friends during high school, but as much as I am an adult now, I will try to present more mature songs.”

Singer IU who is known for being a tad clumsy, but still adorable has once again tumbled on the floor, this time — on a basketball court.

On February 11th, IU attended the ‘2011~2012 KB Kookmin Card Pro Basketball All-Star Game‘ which was held at the Jamsil Stadium. It was a face-off between Seoul Samsung and Wonju Dongbu.

IU who made a special appearance to open the game by shooting the first goal, tumbled on the court on her first try. The singer did appear to be a little embarrassed, but laughed it off in a cute manner. Although she messed up the first time, IU scored on her second try.

This wasn’t the first time the idol has shown her clumsiness. Back in 2011, IU fell on the stage while going to receive her Daesang at the ‘Melon Music Awards‘ in September. Her acceptance speech was a full mix of emotional crying, joy, and embarrassment.

A photo that’s made rounds on the internet featuring IU on a children’s television show has netizens amused with the singer’s petite body.

The ‘nation’s little sister’ made an appearance on Tooniverse’s ‘Mak Irae Show’, a program featuring elementary school students in Korea. After a screenshot was posted on an online forum titled, “IU, whose body is smaller than an elementary school kid,” many took note of how well IU blended in with the rest of the cast. When the singer posed in a photo with Kim Yu Jung, the boy in a hat in the bottom right corner, the child actor actually seemed to tower over the nineteen-year-old!

Netizens that saw the forum thread vividly nicknamed the depiction as “IU’s starvation body,” then reacted with a variety of comments. “Even smaller than Kim Yu Jung, the best,” one amused viewer remarked. It’s now February, which means it’s time for high school students in Korea to graduate, and the idols are no exception.

Idols born in 1993 and 1994 are preparing for their graduation, and so are the media and the fans who are planning to attend the ceremonies.

The first to graduate will be C-real leader Chemi who is currently a student at Chungdam High School in Seoul. Her graduation ceremony will take place on the 3rd, and she will be in attendance to receive her diploma.

On the 8th, KARA‘s maknae Jiyoung who is attending Muhak Girls’ High School in Seoul will also be in attendance to receive her diploma. As long as something new doesn’t pop up on her schedule, Jiyoung will be at the ceremony and plans to spend the day with her teachers and her friends.

February 9th will be a big day, as multiple idol stars will be graduating on the same day.

Singer IU who is a student at Dongduk Girls’ High School will most likely be at her graduation ceremony, although that can change according to her busy schedule.

This is the nation’s sweetheart who is graduating, and both the fans and the media are preparing for this event.

Lila Art High School students f(x)‘s Luna and T-ara‘s Jiyeon will also be graduating, however, Jiyeon will be in Paris for KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ Paris Special on the 8th, and therefore will be unable to attend her ceremony.

Luna is still unsure if she will attend, it will all depend on her TV Chosun ‘Saving Ajumma Go Bong Shil‘ filming schedule.

On the 10th, SHINee‘s Taemin will also be graduating from his Hanlim Arts High School, but he and the rest of the SHINee members will also be in France for the ‘Music Bank’ Paris special and will unfortunately be unable to attend.

Twins T-ara‘s Hwa Youngand Coed School‘s Hyo Young will also be graduating from their respective schools, and Hyo Young who is also a member of unit 5dolls has tentative plans to attend, while, Hwa Young will also be in Paris for ‘Music Bank’ and will be unable to receive her diploma in person.

SISTAR‘s Dasom, a student of Anyang Art High School will also be graduating but she will also be in Paris, and actor Yoo Seung Ho currently attending Baek Shin High School will also be graduating on the 9th.

Singer IU’s ‘official pose’ has become a hot topic.

A picture was uploaded recently on an online community forum titled “IU’s official pose whenever she takes pictures”.

In the picture it shows IU from the beginning of her debut to current and each picture has her making the V-pose with both hands. Each picture was taken at a different place and at different times, but she is always seen doing the same V-Pose.

Due to her consistency with the V-Pose, people are now starting to call her the ‘V-Terminator’. Also, now many of IU’s fans are calling this pose ‘IU’s Official Pose’.

Different from her usual, always cute and adorable appearance, a photo of singer IU looking like a rebellious student has caught fans’ attentions.

On January 7th, a photo was uploaded on a community site with the caption, “IU looking rebellious at school“.

In the photo, IU is seen in a classroom surrounded by her friends. Maybe because she had a broadcast that day, but she is seen wearing thick makeup with her school uniform which made her look like a delinquent student.

IU began the new year with a fresh, new hairdo!

At this week’s KBS Music Bank (1/6/12), IU performed her popular hit ‘You and I,’ while sporting a much shorter hairstyle. This day, IU showed off a much younger-looking image, after chopping off her long, straight hair. This cutesy new look drove IU’s “uncle fans” even more wild.

After seeing today’s performance, netizens began to wonder if IU had really cut off her hair, or if she was just wearing a wig for stage performance. They left various comments including:

There are a lot of idols that will officially be legal adults in the quickly approaching new year, and fans already have high expectations as to how they will begin to broaden their spectrums as adults.

Fans are most excited for the nation’s sweetheart IU to become legal. IU has put her plans for college on hold, and revealed on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘ that she will attend when the timing is right. She is currently promoting her new song “You & I“.

IU’s best friends f(x) member Luna and T-ara‘s Jiyeon are also getting ready to graduate high school, and SISTAR‘s Dasom will also become legal in 2012. Members Eunji and Bomi of rookie girl group A Pink are also looking forward to becoming adults in the new year.

Actors Lee Hyun Woo and Yoo Seung Ho who have made their debut as child actors are also getting ready to become mature men. Yoo Seung Ho who has already taken up a few adult roles and will continue to delight his fans by showing various sides of himself through his acting. Lee Hyun Woo who has featured in KBS 2TV‘s ‘God of Study‘ and SBS TV‘s ‘Gyebaek‘ will also continue to broaden his horizons as an actor.

IU and 2AM’s Jo Kwon were chosen by singers as the number 1 idol to take home to parents.

“Who are the top idols to take home to parents?,” was asked on the monthly poll of the June issue for SBS “Inkigayo” Magazine. This, following May’s poll topic of ‘the top idol to want to go on a spring outing with’.

Like the previous poll, performers on SBS “Inkigayo” including B2ST, After School, f(x), Jay Park, Baek Ji Young, Jewelry, Lim Jung Hee, Huh Young Sang, Rainbow, 5dolls, and B1A4, along with a number of staff members were all surveyed.

IU was the top pick out of the male idols with her adorable MC-ing and her innocent, lovely little bride look.

SNSD’s Taeyeon took 2nd with her unique friendliness and loveliness, whereas 3rd place was tied between 2NE1’s Sandara Park with her bursting charm and After School’s UEE with her sexy body, yet nice look.

Rainbow’s Woori and f(x)’s Victoria took 4th and 5th, respectively, receiving the most votes from the staff.

2AM’s Jo Kwon was the top pick out of the female idols. His actions from “We Got Married” and his thoughtfulness of his remark that, “the fact that I can serve my parents with devotion gives me the greatest happiness“, were the key factors in his top selection.

Jay Park took 2nd place with his pure and honest appeal, whereas Big Bang’s TOP and B2ST’s Yoon Doo Joon tied for 3rd. Following up, CNBLUE’s Jung Yonghwa took 4th and INFINITE’s Sung Gyu placed 5th.

Jay Park, TOP, and Sung Gyu, all received fervent responses from the female staff members.

SBS “Inkigayo” Magazine published its first issue back in January of 2010, and monthly issues are given out for free at the beginning of each month at the SBS Broadcasting Center and SBS Deungchon public hall. The magazine covers interviews, photos from Inkigayo, and an array of curious topics that the viewers may have.
