Girls’ Generation members Sunny & Hyoyeon have been rumored to be leaving KBS 2TV‘s variety show, ‘Invincible Youth 2‘.

However on March 27th, a Girls’ Generation representative informed MyDaily, “Girls’ Generation members Sunny and Hyoyeon will not be leaving ‘Invincible Youth 2′.”

“These rumors came not only as a surprise to the staff members, but to us as well,” the rep continued.

‘Invincible Youth 2′ is expected to undergo some restructuring, switching out a few of the G8 members among other changes.

Of the 3 MCs, Boom will be staying on the program while Lee Soo Geun and Ji Hyun Woo have decided to leave after some discussion with the staff members.

Lee Soo Geun is leaving the show to spend some more time with his wife who is ill, and Ji Hyun Woo wants to focus on his new tvN drama in which he has been recently cast as a male lead.

But the G8 members including f(x)‘s Amber, Jewelry‘s Yewon, Rainbow‘s Woori, Girls’ Generation members Sunny & Hyoyeon, KARA‘s Kang Jiyoung, SISTAR‘s Bora, and miss A’s Suzy have not yet made official decisions as whether to stay or leave the show.

Until now, ‘Invincible Youth 2′ aired every Saturday at 11PM KST, but starting on April 7th, the show will begin airing every Saturday at 5:15PM KST, competing with MBC‘s ‘We Got Married‘.

On the recent episode of KBS2‘s ‘G8‘, Jiyoung ended up having to be the designated worker because she failed to form a couple with a grandmother.

Jiyoung and Ji Hyun Woo had to watch from afar as the rest of the members of ‘G8‘ had fun in the hot spring.

When it was time to prepare dinner, Ji Hyun Woo suddenly wrapped his hands around Jiyoung from behind and said, “Our Jiyoung.” The members who saw this said, “There’s something going on between those two. How long has it been?” and “Jiyoung is leaning against him too.” The two stars have actually been spotted being a little friendly on earlier episodes and left the viewers curious about their relationship.

When the members asked, “Are you guys really dating?” Jiyoung looked embarrassed and just splashed water at them. But Ji Hyun Woo looked like he was enjoying the moment and smiled as he kept his hands around her.

Due to a recent picture, KARA‘s Kang Jiyoung is being dubbed as a ‘giant baby’.

On February 29, a picture was uploaded onto an online community with the title ‘Kang Ji Young’s lofty height in the practice room.’ Along with the picture, the person wrote, “The maknae entertaining her unnis. She stands up straight and gasp! Who’s the maknae and who’s the unni? Ji Young is really tall. I thought she was wearing heels, but she’s wearing sneakers. It might be because the unnis are semi sitting on the chairs, but Kang Ji Young is growing up to be a giant baby.”

The picture displays Ji Young with members Gyuri and Seungyeon in the practice room. At first, it looks as if they are similar in height, but in the second picture we can see the large height difference when Ji Young stands at full height.

Despite being labeled as the baby of the group, seeing her towering over her other members has left netizens nostalgic as they reflected on how much she has grown in many ways since debut.

They responded, “She’s still cute as always“, “Isn’t it good to be tall?“, and “She really is a giant baby“.

Jiyoung is currently part of the G8 team on KBS ‘Invincible Youth.’

KARA‘s charismatic maknae Kang Ji Young challenged herself into hand washing her own car.

On March 1st, Ji Young tweeted, “Hand-washing a car for the first time ever! It’s actually fun and easier than I thought. I thought to myself, ‘I’m sure the car will dry itself when I’m driving it’, but haha. There’s still water leftover from the car wash and now there’s dirt all over it.”

In a comfortable outfit, Ji Young is seen diligently scrubbing her Mini with soap and water at a car wash station.

Netizens commented, “If the weather had been a bit colder, the water would have turned into icicles“, “After you wash your car, you need to dry it off with a dry cloth“, and “Did you make sure to put a ‘beginner driver’ sticker on the back of your car?”

Ji Young then made replies to her fan’s tweet and said, “Of course, I asked the man who worked at the car wash if he had a drying cloth, but he said he didn’t have one.”

KARA‘s Kang Jiyoung admitted that she didn’t like her graduation photo.

On February 13th, talk show “Bae Ki Wan, Choi Young Ah and Jo Hyung Gi’s Good Morning” aired footage from Jiyoung’s high school graduation ceremony from the 8th.

When the reporters asked Jiyoung about her much-talked about photo, Jiyoung said, “I didn’t know it was a big deal at all. To be honest, I don’t like my graduation photo very much.”

Fans disagreed, however, as Jiyoung looked picture perfect with her long hair, deep bangs, and shy smile.

Guess not even celebrities feel all that confident about their graduation pictures!

KARA‘s maknae Kang Jiyoung has graduated from high school!

Jiyoung who is now officially considered an ‘adult’ attended her Muhak Girls’ High School graduation ceremony on the 8th to spend her last day as a young high school student.

Although the singer is busy promoting with her group in both Japan and Korea, she made the time to say her last goodbyes to her classmates and teachers.

She also wrote a few words on her Twitter page the day before saying, “I debuted when I was a freshman in high school, but I’m already a senior, graduating tomorrow. Will I be able to be a mature, successful adult?”

Jiyoung has yet to decide if or when she will apply to college.

It’s now February, which means it’s time for high school students in Korea to graduate, and the idols are no exception.

Idols born in 1993 and 1994 are preparing for their graduation, and so are the media and the fans who are planning to attend the ceremonies.

The first to graduate will be C-real leader Chemi who is currently a student at Chungdam High School in Seoul. Her graduation ceremony will take place on the 3rd, and she will be in attendance to receive her diploma.

On the 8th, KARA‘s maknae Jiyoung who is attending Muhak Girls’ High School in Seoul will also be in attendance to receive her diploma. As long as something new doesn’t pop up on her schedule, Jiyoung will be at the ceremony and plans to spend the day with her teachers and her friends.

February 9th will be a big day, as multiple idol stars will be graduating on the same day.

Singer IU who is a student at Dongduk Girls’ High School will most likely be at her graduation ceremony, although that can change according to her busy schedule.

This is the nation’s sweetheart who is graduating, and both the fans and the media are preparing for this event.

Lila Art High School students f(x)‘s Luna and T-ara‘s Jiyeon will also be graduating, however, Jiyeon will be in Paris for KBS 2TV‘s ‘Music Bank‘ Paris Special on the 8th, and therefore will be unable to attend her ceremony.

Luna is still unsure if she will attend, it will all depend on her TV Chosun ‘Saving Ajumma Go Bong Shil‘ filming schedule.

AA‘s Kimchi and Hoik will be attending their graduation at Korea Art School and they will be receiving their diplomas together.

On the 10th, SHINee‘s Taemin will also be graduating from his Hanlim Arts High School, but he and the rest of the SHINee members will also be in France for the ‘Music Bank’ Paris special and will unfortunately be unable to attend.

Twins T-ara‘s Hwa Youngand Coed School‘s Hyo Young will also be graduating from their respective schools, and Hyo Young who is also a member of unit 5dolls has tentative plans to attend, while, Hwa Young will also be in Paris for ‘Music Bank’ and will be unable to receive her diploma in person.

SISTAR‘s Dasom, a student of Anyang Art High School will also be graduating but she will also be in Paris, and actor Yoo Seung Ho currently attending Baek Shin High School will also be graduating on the 9th.

The singer recently guest-featured to film the next episode of MBC‘s ‘Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert – K-POP Star Special‘, and the bubbly Jiyoung helped create a fun atmosphere on the set.

She talked about her promotions in Japan, as well as the things she unfortunately had to give up on after becoming a star.

But when the guests began speaking of their ideal types, Kang Jiyoung unexpectedly revealed that she liked men who didn’t eat carrots, which highly amused the other guests on set.

She hilariously stated that more specifically, he must not eat carrots that are cooked, which caused the guests to further explode in laughter.
