Core Contents Media has revealed that they have insured the members of T-ara for up to 10 billion Korean Won, or $8.8 million USD, while the girls go on their nine day travel overseas.

On March 22nd, officials explained, “The members of T-ara will be visiting Italy’s Milano and Venezia, Australia , Swiss, and Milano again during their nine day travel. To prepare and prevent any accidents or emergencies that may occur on the trip, we’ve decided to insure them for up to 10 billion Won.”

Labelmates Hang Ji Hyun, Lee Hae In, Choi Soo Eun, and supermodel Kim Hyeji will be joining the girls during their break, along with director Cha Eun Taek, fashion photographer Jo Se Hyun, and 20 other staff members.

Director Cha Eun Taek and photographer Jo Se Hyun will be documenting the girls’ trip, along with filming the music video and photoshoot for an upcoming seven member girl group comprised of the actors and models listed above. Their debut is currently slated for May.

T-ara’s Park Ji Yeon is getting a lot of attention for her ‘bad hands.’

A picture of Park using her ‘bad hands’ from KBS’s series Dream High 2 was recently released.

In the picture, Park looks like a mischievous girl while grabbing 2AM’s Jung Jin Woon’s face. People who saw the picture said she looks like a person with ‘bad hands.’ Jung, however, let Park to play a prank on him and created a happy atmosphere.

In another picture, Jung is putting his arm around Park’s shoulder. But his hand is not touching Park’s body and people who saw the picture called him as a person who has ‘good hands.’

7 member idol group T-ara is currently gathering much attention, as it was revealed that a potential member change was imminent.

On March 14th, it was revealed through Core Contents Media CEO Kim Kwang Soo, that T-ara would experience a major change in the dynamics of the group, including a potential shift in members.

Kim revealed, “Regardless of T-ara’s current popularity and skill, we are planning a major change for the group in April, so that the group can be upgraded to another level.” He continued, “This change not only includes group concept, but also the members.”

T-ara debuted in 2009 as a five member group and underwent lineup changes as the group continued to release number 1 hits such as “Roly Poly“, “Cry Cry” and, “Lovey Dovey“. They have even obtained considerable success in Japan, as their remakes of “Roly Poly” and “Bo Beep Bo Beep” charted high on the Oricon Charts.

The difference between Jiyeon of T-ara wearing eye make and without has been an interest among netizens. Recently, a photo was shared on an online community on the 9th of March with the title "T-ara's Jiyeon with her unique eye make up".

MBC variety show "We Got Married" with the virtual couple Lee Jang Woo, Eunjung and their respective mothers were recently spotted recording a segment for the show in Indonesia. Photos from the shoot were posted in an online community on March 7th.

The episode shows Eunjung who is finally all healed from her leg injury. However netizens were quick to notice something in these photos, with various commenters making note of how much chubbier Eunjung appears to look in the photos.

Eunjung looked like she gained some weight in her thighs and her v-line chin was nowhere to be seen. It could perhaps also be that due to her recent ankle injury, she has gained a bit of weight because of her inability to exercise.

While the photo may seem like nothing out the ordinary, one problematic feature amid the usual camera crew and staff members was highlighted; a woman in the back can be seen holding up a cue sign, as if directing the on-screen couple’s actions.

The picture immediately became a hot topic, with many netizens questioning whether or not We Got Married is scripted. However, T-ara’s Eunjung, whose episode was being filmed with partner Jangwoo at the scene of the picture, dismissed the rumor via Twitter. She stated, “Because coconuts are a special delicacy in that country, I think one of the staff members just wrote that down to let us know that it’d be a good idea to mention it.”


“These sort of ‘tips’ from our staff rarely occur actually,” continued Eunjung, “In fact, whenever we begin to film, the only thing our staff tells us is, ‘This is what you’re doing today, go have fun’ and that’s pretty much it!”

On March 8th, pictures of ‘We Got Married‘ couple T-ara‘s Eunjung and actor Lee Jang Woo getting married in Indonesia surfaced online!

Wearing traditional Indonesian wedding garments, the fan taken pictures show the couple beautifully dressed in red and gold, and holding a ceremony before the locals. Despite the addition of candles and flowers to conjure up a romantic atmosphere, the couple poses with shy expressions on their faces before the camera.

The couple left on March 5th for a four day filming session in Indonesia. This is their second honeymoon following their trip to Malaysia last year.

On a recent episode of MBC’s ‘Three Wheels,’ girl group SPICA member, Kim Boa, impressed the viewers with her pre-debut experience as the guide and chorus for several popular artists’ songs. A guide refers to the vocals that the artists hear of the song before they record it themselves.

The other guests on the show were surprised to find that Boa was 26 years old. She explained that she hasn’t been in other idol groups in the past, but she has worked with famous artists such as Lee Hyori, T-ara, 4minute, and Girls’ Generation. Following the popular rankings of girl groups by popularity and talent, the ‘Average Height of Girl Groups’ ranking was released in an online community and has been garnering attention amongst netizens.

The girl groups were ranked in five different categories: Giant group, Tall group, Average Height group, Short group, and Shortest group.
