It’s just been revealed that 5dolls member Soomi has decided to leave the group.

5dolls’ agency, Core Contents Media, announced the news on February 17th and added, “New member Nayeon, who has an innocent image, has stepped in to take Soomi’s place.”

Soomi has decided to pursue a career as a solo artist after being the leader of 5dolls and a former member of SeeYa. Officials at Core Contents Media accepted her decision and prepared a member replacement soon after.

Han Nayeon is said to be 21 years old, and has lived in the States since elementary school. She’s not only fluent in English, but also possesses strong musical ability in the piano, flute, guitar, and more.

With the addition of Nayeon, 5dolls will continue to promote as a five-member subunit under the management of GM Contents Media.

Despite T-ara‘s insanely jam-packed schedules, member Hyomin was determined to help her labelmates, SPEED, edit their music video for their upcoming debut track, “Lovey Dovey Plus“.

According to reports, the idol stayed up all night helping producer Cha Eun Taek edit the music video. It’s been said that Hyomin always had a passion for music video editing, and personally volunteered to edit SPEED’s.

SPEED — a sub-unit comprised of Co-Ed‘s male members – has taken T-ara’s hit track “Lovey-Dovey“ and rearranged it in their own style. The new group will be swapping out the cute and cheerful sounds from the original for a more aggressive style that would show off their masculinity.

Additionally, twins Hwayoung (T-ara) and Hyoyoung (5dolls) will also cameo in the music video for a never-before-seen dance battle.

The music video of ‘Lovey Dovey Plus’ will be officially released on February 13th at 1:00 p.m. KST!

The members of T-ara has given praise to Co-ed's male sub-unit SPEED on their "Lovey Dovey Plus" music video.

According to both group's agency, T-ara previewed the "Lovey Dovey Plus" music video prior to its official release and had said, "Our 'Lovey Dovey' music video and this music video is completely different."

SPEED's "Lovey Dovey Plus" music video will orient a more masculine and powerful shuffle dance choreography than T-ara's original. The director has been reported to be Cha Euntaek, and with that news, the music video has become highly anticipated.

"Lovey Dovey Plus" will also feature the Core Content Media twins, T-ara's Hwayoung and Co-ed/5dolls' Hyoyoung, who have cut their hair similarly short to the point where it is very difficult to differentiate between them. They will be appearing in the same costumes in the music video. Both Hyoyoung and SPEED have received applause from the staff present at the video shooting for their ability to dance the choreography well.
Co-ed's male sub-unit SPEED will release their music video "Lovey Dovey Plus," which will feature a Michael Jackson "Billie Jean" concept, on February 13th at 1PM KST.

Pop group Co-Ed has just revealed the name of their male sub-unit!

The male unit has decided to promote under the name, ‘SPEED‘. The name is meant to express the group’s determination to keep moving forward without slowing down.

As reported earlier, the unit will be made up of six members — the five original members [Taewoon, Jungwoo, Kwang Haeng, Sungmin, In Oh (Noori)] as well as the newly recruited Shin Jongkook from ‘Superstar K3‘.

SPEED will be releasing their remake of T-ara‘s “Lovey Dovey“, “Lovey Dovey Plus”, on February 9th and the music video will be revealed on the 10th, which will feature T-ara’s Hwayoung as well as her twin, 5dolls‘ Hyoyoung.

SPEED stated, “As we approach the release date of ‘Lovey Dovey Plus’, we get more nervous and excited. We will become a SPEED who always tries our best.”

The six male members of Co-ed currently consists of Yoosung, Taewoon, Sungmin, Kwanghaeng, Noori and the recently admitted Superstar K3 Jongkook will unveil their own intense version of "Lovey Dovey" and give it an entirely new feeling.

According to Core Content Media, "The male members really enjoy T-ara's 'Lovey-Dovey' and the shuffle dance. In fact, Kwanghaeng was the president of a dance club in Australia where shuffle dance originated. After watching T-ara, the male members want to re-create the shuffle dance of 'Lovey-Dovey' with their own style."

The agency's official adds that the male members of Co-ed asked them for permission before rearranging, recording, and writing the raps to their personal version of "Lovey Dovey." They said, "We're preparing really hard for our first work and T-ara sunbaes are helping us with advice. We are looking forward to the fan's reactions."

The male members of Co-ed have not yet been given an official name as a sub-unit, unlike the female members of Co-ed known as 5Dolls.

The male members of the group will releasing their own version of "Lovey Dovey" called "Lovey Dovey Plus" and it will be released on the 9th of February.

5dolls Eunkyo revealed a story from the 'It's You' music video shoot with Park Jaebum.

In a recent interview with SPN, Eunkyo revealed, "Me and Jay Park oppa had to repeat 'this and that' over and over about ten thousand times to make it look like a conversation," she said.

Jay Park appears in the 'It's You' music video as a lover who also has to take part in intimate conversations. Because of the music, they couldn't have a real conversation.

Eunkyo recalls that in the scene her and Jay Park followed the orders they received from the director for a conversation. However, because this was Eunkyo's first time acting and Jay Park was shy in his Korean, the situation wasn't a real conversation. Eunkyo described that the two looked at each other and just repeated 'this and that.'

'It's You' music video has two different versions with different female main characters. 5dolls Chanmi revealed, "Jay Park oppa had a lot of NGs.'

Diorang ni semuanya member girls Co.Ed(dah namanya 5Dolls semua girls la)and telah ditambah dengan sorang member baru iaitu Seo Eun Gyo. Baru-baru ni leader Co.Ed iaitu Smile SooMi telah shared 2 photos kat official Twitter account dia , kira nak asking fans to love and support their group.
Dalam photos ni nampaknya diorang betul-betul change dari style before debut dengan Co.Ed, kali ni diorang wearing blue-toned clothes, emitting off an innocent and sexy charm at the same time. Wah'..speaking lak...hehe

Rookie group Co-Ed will be debuting their first girl group unit this coming January!
Composed of their four original female members, an additional female member will be added to the unit. The new member is revealed to be Seo Eun Gyo (16), a middle school student.

Core Contents Media revealed on December 28th, “In order to show a wider variety of images to their fans, Co-Ed has created a girl group unit named ‘5dolls‘. The group represents the five female ‘dolls’ that makes up the group. The newest member is the same age as One Star Hyewon, and has been rehearsing with the other female members for awhile.”
They also revealed, “Her mother owns a dance school so she naturally learned how to dance since she was six years old. She’s been training in dance for 10 years now, and her vocals are just exceptional.”
They continued, “She hasn’t been met with any difficulty in adjusting to the group, and all five have been working closely together to debut the unit group.”
It was also mentioned that Seo Eun Gyo was briefly a trainee at JYP Entertainment.
The company further revealed, “5dolls will be debuting with a track composed by Brave Brothers.”
