Kara member and ‘Inkigayo‘ MC, Goo Hara made an apology to rookie group B.A.P for her mistake on this week’s broadcast.

On March 11th, Goo Hara made a post on her Twitter account that read, “To B.A.P members, B.A.P Baby, B.A.P fans, I apologize. They are a 6-member group, not 5… It was my mistake. I will be more careful from now on“.

The apology comes as a result of her mistake earlier on in the day, during the live broadcast of SBS‘s Inkigayo. As she was introducing B.A.P for their performance, she mistakenly introduced them as a 5-member group. B.A.P, of course, is made up of 6 members, Bang Yong Guk, Zelo, Himchan, Yong Jae, DaeHyun, and Jong Up.

Netizens responded by posting various comments such as “I was kind of surprised during the broadcast but its an understandable mistake” , “It is a live broadcast so there is room for mistakes” and, “It is nice to see a quick apology. End of Story“.

The members of 2AM guest-featured on ‘Radio Star‘ and revealed the list of artists that rose to fame after being cut from JYP Entertainment.

On the March 7th episode of MBC‘s ‘Radio Star’, 2AM’s Jo Kwon selected 2NE1‘s “I Am The Best” as a song he was envious of.

“CL was once a JYP trainee,” he revealed, surprising the MCs on set. Fellow member Seulong added, “Why we let her go is one of the many mysteries at our office.”

The members also revealed that IU was one singer that J.Y. Park was kicking himself for letting her get away. “J.Y. Park hit the ground in regret,” the boys stated. “Previously, he mentioned that he was going to find out who had cut IU.”

In addition, the group also revealed that B2ST‘s Yoon Doojoon, KARA‘s Goo Hara, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, SECRET‘s Song Ji Eun, and more were also once JYP trainees.

KARA member Goo Hara‘s slim figure is evoking much envy amongst her female fans.

The photos above recently surfaced on an online community site with the caption, ‘Thought Goo Hara had the figure of an elementary student, but her ultra slim waist is breathtaking.”

The shots were taken while Goo Hara took a break from her shoot to eat a slice of pizza. Her white one piece well-traced her S-line figure, showcasing her ultra-thin 22-inch waist.

Envious netizens wrote comments that read, “How is that even considered a waist? Breathtaking“, “Really thin waist. Thinner than an ant’s!”, and “I wish I could live with that waist for a single day.”

B2ST member Junhyung‘s father was asked which girl group member he would approve of as his daughter-in-law, and he selected KARA‘s Goo Hara, who happens to be Junhyung’s current girlfriend.

On the February 21st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘, Junhyung’s father remarked, “I thought a lot about this question. Junhyung once brought Goo Hara home, and I thought that she was a nice and bright girl. It’s nice to see how cute they are together.”

In regards to his son’s public relationship he remarked, “I was pretty surprised in the beginning. Once the news got out, it was all over the internet. I was a little bit concerned.”

Junhyung who became a bit embarrassed joked, “I should never have been caught,” causing the other guests on set to roar in laughter.

The B2ST members who guest-featured for a special edition of ‘Win Win’ honestly talked about the difficult times they had to endure in order to become the group they are today.

Contrary to earlier reports that B2ST‘s Junhyung and Kara‘s Goo Hara were wearing couple bracelets, new reports have surfaced claiming that those are not couple bracelets.

Junhyung’s fans have come forth with the statement that, “Contrary to reports, Junhyung’s bracelet is not a couple bracelet, but a birthday wish bracelet that his fans gave to him last December 19th. As you can tell in the photos, Goo Hara’s bracelet has a longer charm than Junhyung’s. They are of completely different design.”

It is said that when one makes a wish as they put on the bracelet for the first time, it will come true after the bracelet has worn out and fallen off. This bracelet is reported to have been popular in America and Europe after 9/11, and has recently come to Korea.

Furthermore, the fans have added that, “Goo Hara’s bracelet is actually the same design as those of B2ST’s other members, Yang Yoseob and Jang Hyunseung“. The fans have even uploaded a picture of Yoseob with the identical bracelet to prove that they are not couple bracelets.

On January 26th, an online community post titled, ‘Junyung & Goo Hara with couple bracelets‘ caused a flood of commentary, as many netizens drew the connection between the bracelets and the two’s acknowledgement of their relationship last year.

A Korean cosmetic-surgery clinic conducted a survey of Japanese patient visitors for the entire year of 2011 asking, “Who is your favorite Hallyu Star?” At the end of the year, KARA was the most preferred K-pop star among Japanese visitors.

Director Yoon In Mo of the hospital explained, “The most favored Hallyu star came out to be Park Gyuri, Nicole, Han Seung Yeon, Goo Hara, and Kang Ji Young who are in KARA. The following favorite stars after KARA were Jang Geun Suk, Bae Yong Jun, Girls’ Generation, Lee Byung Hun, and Jo In Sung. Through this survey, we were able to find out how the Japanese think about KARA’s image. The KARA members resemble puppy dogs. They all have cute and lovely faces. Some Japanese visitors brought photos of their favorite KARA member and asked to change their nose to look like their favorite KARA member. They wish to look a little more like their favorite stars, even if it’s through a nose job.”

He continued, “I think KARA’s music brought a good response from the Japanese due to a thorough planning from the start before composing and selecting songs to release to the global and domestic markets.”

Kara’s high popularity among the Japanese was also proven back on November 19th of 2011 when Y-STAR‘s ‘Curious‘ conducted surveys with Japanese tourists to which 62 out of the 100 chose Kara as their favorite K-pop star.

Japanese Sankei Newspaper also ran an analysis about the girls and concluded that KARA’s popularity is due to, “Their attractive face, balanced body line, and fancy dance“. Sankai also reported that Korean girl groups are gaining popularity due to their distinguishing appearance and interesting group dance compared to current Japanese idols. This sort of popularity has led KARA to earn 49.3 billion yen(73 billion won) in Japan from CD and DVD sales in 2011 alone.

In related news, KARA will be attending the ‘Golden Disc Awards in Osaka‘ on the 11th.

KARA‘s Goo Hara has charmed her fans with her latest selca, which shows off her contemporary hanbok.

The idol wore the traditional Korean dress in honor of the New Year along with her fellow ‘Inkigayo‘ MCs, Nicole and IU. After the show, Goo Hara tweeted, “Really sleepy. Cry cry. Today I wore a hanbok.”

In her two-shot, Goo Hara looks stunning, but undeniably tired. She’s been running ragged with her groupmates to fulfill their year-end promotions. It looks like she’d love nothing more than to curl up on a couch and snooze. Unfortunately, duty calls so she found the next best thing — crouching in a shopping cart while monitoring her show.

KARA’s Goo Hara recently revealed a bit about her school life, during her appearance on KBS 2TV’s variety program “Nocturnal.”

On the show, she confessed that she was bullied by older female classmates due to being too popular with the male students.

“It wasn’t just simply bullying though, it was a lot more shocking. Girls would come to my classroom and beat me up.”

The MCs thought lightly of it and commented, “They probably just hit you one or two times,” causing Goo Hara to retort, “They really did beat me up until I was about to die!”

She then got up and reenacted the scene herself, causing the MCs to burst out in laughter.

To be debuted as 'Little Goo Hara,' and receive that kind of attention is considered customary pre-debut. In recent time, tens and hundreds of articles about Kara's Goo Hara, and Jin Hye Won, 'Little Goo Hara' has attracted attention.

KARA’s Goo Hara and MBLAQ’s Thunder became good friends on the most recent episode of Invincible Youth.

When MBLAQ visited the girls to help them do some farm work, Hara never left Thunder’s side.

In Korea, you have to speak formally to a stranger or someone older than you, so to get closer to Thunder, Hara suggested, “Let’s speak informally!” Thunder replied, “Okay. But you have to call me oppa.”

The two went together to get boxes and were basically partners throughout the whole show.

They decided to have a comfortable oppa-dongsaeng relationship.
