B2ST member Junhyung‘s father was asked which girl group member he would approve of as his daughter-in-law, and he selected KARA‘s Goo Hara, who happens to be Junhyung’s current girlfriend.

On the February 21st episode of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Win Win‘, Junhyung’s father remarked, “I thought a lot about this question. Junhyung once brought Goo Hara home, and I thought that she was a nice and bright girl. It’s nice to see how cute they are together.”

In regards to his son’s public relationship he remarked, “I was pretty surprised in the beginning. Once the news got out, it was all over the internet. I was a little bit concerned.”

Junhyung who became a bit embarrassed joked, “I should never have been caught,” causing the other guests on set to roar in laughter.

The B2ST members who guest-featured for a special edition of ‘Win Win’ honestly talked about the difficult times they had to endure in order to become the group they are today.

B2ST's Junhyung and INFINITE's L will be making a cameo appearance in SBS's sitcom, "Salamander Guru".

On the episode scheduled to be broadcast on February 10th, Junhyung and L will guest-star as members of a "flower boy" trio of thieves along with SHINee's Minho.

The trio worked together in the past to hack into a wealthy home's security system in order to steal a valuable painting. Although "Minhyuk" (Minho) is trying to leave those dark days behind him, "Joker" (Junhyung) and "L" (L) are still living out their lives as thieves.

The two seek out Minho to collaborate with them once more. While Junhyung pins Minho to the ground and demands his cooperation, L, a gangster, easily handles those who try to come to Minho's defense. As a result, the "flower boy" trio will embark on another mission to steal another valuable painting along with the ugly salamander gurus.

After the shoot, the production staff remarked, "It seems like it's raining flowers around us. These are amazing guys who are able to act, in addition to possessing sculpture-like faces and great singing ability."

BEAST's rapper Junhyung will be making his solo debut! Despite the group's preparation for their World Tour which will start on February 4th and 5th in Seoul, BEAST released a digital single last week. "I Knew It" is a ballad track that showcases BEAST's vocal talent.

On February 2nd, Cube Entertainment revealed that BEAST's Junhyung would be releasing his first solo track. This is not the first song Junhyung has composed. Previously, Junhyung has written and co-composed the some of BEAST's tracks, as well as songs for other artists as well.

Junhyung's solo track, "Living Without You," will be released on February 3rd at midnight. "Living Without You" is said to have lyrics that express a man's feelings when he is betrayed. The song has a delicate rhythm along with a strong hip-hop background. Junhyung's debut track will tell a story with authentic lyrics as well.

Since Junhyung's skills as a rapper and composer have already been recognized in the industry, his solo debut track is attracting a lot of attention from the media and fans who both have high expectations for the track.

BEAST's "I Knew It" achieved an all-kill when it was released last week. BEAST will be performing their first "BEAUTIFUL SHOW" tour concert in Seoul on February 4th and 5th.

Contrary to earlier reports that B2ST‘s Junhyung and Kara‘s Goo Hara were wearing couple bracelets, new reports have surfaced claiming that those are not couple bracelets.

Junhyung’s fans have come forth with the statement that, “Contrary to reports, Junhyung’s bracelet is not a couple bracelet, but a birthday wish bracelet that his fans gave to him last December 19th. As you can tell in the photos, Goo Hara’s bracelet has a longer charm than Junhyung’s. They are of completely different design.”

It is said that when one makes a wish as they put on the bracelet for the first time, it will come true after the bracelet has worn out and fallen off. This bracelet is reported to have been popular in America and Europe after 9/11, and has recently come to Korea.

Furthermore, the fans have added that, “Goo Hara’s bracelet is actually the same design as those of B2ST’s other members, Yang Yoseob and Jang Hyunseung“. The fans have even uploaded a picture of Yoseob with the identical bracelet to prove that they are not couple bracelets.

On January 26th, an online community post titled, ‘Junyung & Goo Hara with couple bracelets‘ caused a flood of commentary, as many netizens drew the connection between the bracelets and the two’s acknowledgement of their relationship last year.

The boys of B2ST held a ramen cook off to see which member was the greatest chef in the kitchen.

B2ST member Dongwoon wrote via his Twitter page on the 15th, “As soon as I get back to our dorms, I’m going to have a cook off with Doojoon hyung. When the time comes, I will share photos of us in action. Also, the results.”

Later, fellow member Yang Yoseob also tweeted, “Wow they’re really going to do it. You guys cook, I’m going to sleep. I told you guys not to buy so many ingredients. Anyway, The cook off begins now“, and shared a few photos of the boys getting ready for their cooking battle.

In the photos, Doojoon and Dongwoon are quite busy in the kitchen, even dressed like rivals in black and white.

An hour later, Yoseob tweeted the results of the competition saying, “Judging panel – Yong Jun Hyung, Hong Seung Wan, Yang Yoseob, Jun Jungun, Lee Ki Kwang. With a score of 3:2, Son Dongwoon wins.”

“Yoon Doojoon could not get over his loss and challenged Son Dongwoon to a fried rice battle. We ate really well, thanks to these two,” he continued, hinting that there would be another cook off in the near future.

Netizens laughed as they commented, “I want to eat Doojoon oppa’s food“, “Can I be a judge too?”, “Which ramen did you vote for?”, and more.

B2ST’s Gi Kwang took a picture of Jun Hyung in a green room.

On December 30, Gi Kwang uploaded a picture on his Twitter account with the comment, “I was so bored and took a picture. But it came out so perfectly. Am I perhaps a natural-born photographer?”

In the picture, Jun Hyung is dressed in comfortable casual clothes with a knit hat on. With an expressionless look on his face, he is sitting on a chair with his legs crossed and looking at his cell phone. His pose seems so chic that it looks like a photo in a magazine.

On December 17th, B2ST‘s main rapper, Junhyung uploaded a photo taken in an airplane with fellow labelmate, Doojoon on his twitter.

Along with the photo, the idol wrote, “We safely arrived in Japan“.

As the year is about to end, there has been an increase in the workload on idols which is reflected through Junhyung’s tired looking eyes. Previously, Yong Jun Hyung revealed that he makes so much that it’s hard for him to handle. G Dragon is also popularly known to write and compose songs. There are even rumors that G Dragon drives around in a Bentley Continental GT while Yong Jun Hyung drives an M5.

The K-Pop fandom was thrown into turmoil when news leaked out earlier, claiming that KARA‘s Goo Hara and B2ST‘s Junhyung were no longer a couple.

Although the reports seemed to have been verified by insiders at the time, both agencies quickly refuted the allegation, resulting in the curious case of agencies actually denying that a couple was not dating.

“After checking, the two of them are still meeting. We cannot understand how these articles came to be. The rumors of their breakup have no footing in truth,” said a representative for KARA.

Cube Entertainment echoed the above message, saying, “Although we haven’t checked with him, we haven’t heard anything about their potential split. As far as we are aware, they are still dating.”

A few minutes later, Junhyung replied with his own statement, “I am still in a relationship with Goo Hara. I think the rumors came about since we have had less time to meet each other.”

B2ST has been named the strongest competitor for Big Bang and 2PM thanks to their recent streak of success, but the boys themselves don’t think so.

In an interview with E Daily, the members of B2ST opened up about their competition and the direction of their career. The boys began, “We’ve been really happy lately, and have even begun wondering whether we’ve ever received such love since our debut.”

On 2PM and Big Bang, they revealed, “A lot of people compare us to Big Bang and 2PM and say that we’re at the height of our fame. Although we feel good hearing that, it’s also scary. We honestly think that it’s too early for us to hear such praise.”

They continued, “If we’re already at the height of our fame, then there’s no way to go but down. We still think we have a long road left and promise to work hard at everything as if it was our first time.”

B2ST will also be going on an Asian tour soon after their Japanese promotions. Countries include Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and China.

Cube Entertainment said, “Due to the requests made by fans in each country, we’ve decided to create a fan-meeting. Fans can consider it a tour concert in style.”
