Just a few weeks after their debut, B.A.P has been able to gather a lot of attention from kpop listeners and people in the music business alike.

More recently, the group members were interviewed by The Star, and it was revealed that leader Bang Yongguk has been waiting for a joint stage with BEAST's Yang Yoseob ever since the two revealed a collaboration song, "I Remember", last year.

Yongguk mentioned, "Unfortunately, we never had the chance to meet due to BEAST senior's active schedules. I want to do a joint stage of the duet 'I Remember' together with Yang Yoseob senior. Yang Yoseob senior! A lot of fans are waiting and wanting us to have a duet stage for once (laughter)"

"I Remember" was revealed last August and received lots of praise. Both artists never performed the song live, until Yongguk was able to perform it with fellow group member Daehyun instead of BEAST's Yoseob during B.A.P's debut showcase.

The boys of B2ST held a ramen cook off to see which member was the greatest chef in the kitchen.

B2ST member Dongwoon wrote via his Twitter page on the 15th, “As soon as I get back to our dorms, I’m going to have a cook off with Doojoon hyung. When the time comes, I will share photos of us in action. Also, the results.”

Later, fellow member Yang Yoseob also tweeted, “Wow they’re really going to do it. You guys cook, I’m going to sleep. I told you guys not to buy so many ingredients. Anyway, The cook off begins now“, and shared a few photos of the boys getting ready for their cooking battle.

In the photos, Doojoon and Dongwoon are quite busy in the kitchen, even dressed like rivals in black and white.

An hour later, Yoseob tweeted the results of the competition saying, “Judging panel – Yong Jun Hyung, Hong Seung Wan, Yang Yoseob, Jun Jungun, Lee Ki Kwang. With a score of 3:2, Son Dongwoon wins.”

“Yoon Doojoon could not get over his loss and challenged Son Dongwoon to a fried rice battle. We ate really well, thanks to these two,” he continued, hinting that there would be another cook off in the near future.

Netizens laughed as they commented, “I want to eat Doojoon oppa’s food“, “Can I be a judge too?”, “Which ramen did you vote for?”, and more.

B2ST has been named the strongest competitor for Big Bang and 2PM thanks to their recent streak of success, but the boys themselves don’t think so.

In an interview with E Daily, the members of B2ST opened up about their competition and the direction of their career. The boys began, “We’ve been really happy lately, and have even begun wondering whether we’ve ever received such love since our debut.”

On 2PM and Big Bang, they revealed, “A lot of people compare us to Big Bang and 2PM and say that we’re at the height of our fame. Although we feel good hearing that, it’s also scary. We honestly think that it’s too early for us to hear such praise.”

They continued, “If we’re already at the height of our fame, then there’s no way to go but down. We still think we have a long road left and promise to work hard at everything as if it was our first time.”

B2ST will also be going on an Asian tour soon after their Japanese promotions. Countries include Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and China.

Cube Entertainment said, “Due to the requests made by fans in each country, we’ve decided to create a fan-meeting. Fans can consider it a tour concert in style.”

B2ST’s Yoseob left an emotional message for his fans, after rumors began circulating of his possible casting with Rainbow’s Jaekyung for MBC’s “We Got Married“.

A portion of his fanbase immediately began attacking Jaekyung’s homepages by leaving hateful messages, which eventually drove Yoseob to speak out and ask netizens to refrain from doing so.

Yoseob tweeted on the morning of January 7th, “Because of the people that spat out words without any thought, the wounds are still not healing. It’s the same for anyone else, if not me. No matter how it’s done or who they are, what I’m saying is that you cannot harm people. Apologize. Or shall I apologize on behalf of you?”
