Yedang Company has been revealing hints about debuting a new idol group recently, and it seems to all have been confirmed for more details have been released. Looks like another rookie artist will be emerging onto the K-pop scene this year.
Yedang Company, the label that’s home to artists such as RaNia, ALi, Im Jae Bum, CHI CHI, and more, confirmed on that they will be debuting an idol boy group, whose debut album will be produced by Shinsadong Tiger.
For the past two years, Yedang has poured their heart and soul into putting this 6-member idol together. The members are reported to be skilled in English and Japanese, to aim for a more global market since the planning stages.
The group’s debut album was composed, written, and produced by hit songwriter Shinsadong Tiger, and the news is only further heightening fans’ expectations ahead of their debut.
A representative remarked, “In addition to RaNia, this year we are planning to debut 2~3 idol groups that will be able to appeal to a more global market.”
