Posted by Venus Warrior at 4:30 AMDongJoon said, "We've returned from promotion in Thailand. If I were to say the differences between Thais and Korean fans, there are many transgender fans there." "They are so pretty and very girlish. They called me 'Oppa', then they told me they are transgenders" he added, smiling.
On the other hand, he revealed "There is this Chinese fan boy, he sends me a frog as a present everyday." "Of course they are not living frogs but they are pens, spoons and other things, all frog-shaped. He sends it everyday", he conveyed. "Of course I'm thankful because he thinks of me, but receiving a frog everyday makes me curious what's the meaning behind those presents."

DongJoon, 'If I Become The Leader? It would be Horrible~'
Posted by Venus Warrior at 7:04 AM
If you got to win on the TV show you could make a donation of a trophy made of 50 don* of pure gold to needy neighbours, DongJun said: "I don't worry about it I'll donate. If I get the possibility to help then I want to win this prize. From when I was young I had this weird feeling to help, with the friends from my neighbourhood we went to ill person's house and did the cleaning. It was a small thing but when I got to hear "Thank you" I wanted to do it again... Is it in my genes? (laugh)"
Especially on variety show, DongJun has to use his body a lot which is a bit worrying. "I'm not tired at all. I still enjoy it. I couldn't become an athlete. I could play with my feet at football well but I was a bit weak at playing with my hands at basketball, haha!"
You have been the assistant team leader... "My role was only to repeat what some hyungs said to other hyungs. However, KwangHee hyung always take what I say like jokes and it's really irritating." What if you become the leader? "Me as a leader? As soon as I'll become the leader the team will just be destroyed. (laugh) But I'm not the assistant leader so I'll only do maknae things so please understand me, hehe!"
Maknae DongJun trademark is his winning spirit. "This seems to be the most important. I just naturally have to have the control, if not then I'll think "what am I able to do then?""
These days do you still hear about Han GaIn? "I hear it even more. These days the drama is really popular and the fans did for fun some photo comparison... Later on if I meet nuna I want to say sorry because I've been using her image."

ZE:A, "We may be greedy but, when we're on stage we will do our best!"
Posted by Venus Warrior at 6:49 AMChildren of Empire already released their third single 'Separation Drip' and showed its teaser who has a wild 'racing' concept with a sporty look, which caught the attention of the fans. They're constantly receiving a lovecall from our whole country, Japan, Thailand, and all Asia's countries, plus on various variety show they showed off they talents and charms, they even received the nickname of 'variety-dol and are actually having busy activities.
"(DongJun) We have to work hard. So it seems that we got the nickname 'Efforts-dol'. Seeing that we have so much members, when were together our competition spirit grows, when something difficult happens or when we're worried, we help each others so we naturally make efforts to get well together. (laugh)"
Children of Empire's passion is so touching that for their third digital single the compositior Park Geuntae revealed hisstrongs ambitions to "make them become Asia's best idol group". Plus, in this album the song 'Separation Drip' is not simply cute and innocent, the members personnality are put on relief with this strong track and it's even more refreshing to the fans.
"(Kevin) I don't want our group to become another simple idol group. My parents stayed faraway in Australia, I came alone in Korea with the decision to become singer but that wasn't an easy thing."
Children of Empire is not a group with mystical tendencies. Since 2006 they prepared themselves and did more than 50 gerilla concerts while doing a country tour and received the nickname 'Road-dol', thanks to their music and their perfomances they received recognition. This outcome means that they're no more rookies when they shed tears and sweat to do their perfomances.
"(JunYoung) I don't want to receive recognition only because of our faces. For this album we couldn't personnally take part in the producing but for the choreography we always showed new things to our dance professor. And for this album concept we wanted to show a really manly side so we learned martial arts from 'Julian Kang' and showed off the 'Kickdance'...We said that we had to do the best performance as rookies and we thought it was the best way to make it."

ZE:A’s KwangHee Star Diary Part 2: The Next Big Star of Variety Shows?
Posted by Venus Warrior at 6:15 AM
Prankster Kwanghee is well known for always blowing a kiss and flirting with the camera on music programs. The humourous boy with loud laughter has only been able to show the audience a small part of his big personality during his appearances on reality television and variety shows.
KwangHee was always been the one to make the other members laugh on Children of Empire with his wit. “Because it was a reality program, I just showed my natural, everyday self. I think people liked that. Fans would tell me that I seem normal when I have my mouth closed, but that once I open my mouth, it’s a completely different person.” Right after talking, KwangHee showed the reporters his trademark laugh, which may sound to some as if he’s actually choking. Fans have given him many strange nicknames after seeing his natural comic self on the reality show.
KwangHee has been able to bring laughter out in people by showing off his special talking skills on variety shows and on the radio. Besides having that talent, KwangHee also has another ‘talent’, copying girl group dances.
“You could say that I have mastered recent girl group dances. I enjoy following the choreography of f(x)’s ‘NU ABO’, After School’s ‘Bang!’, and Lee Hyori’s ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’. You know how members of male idol groups come together for a joint performance at the end of the year awards? I’ll see you then. You definitely won’t be disappointed.”
An energetic KwangHee dancing.
Still determined to be like 2AM’s Jokwon and Super Junior’s Shindong, KwangHee kept a constant smile on the interviewer’s face. Also complimenting him on his talents was Starry Night Radio DJ Park KyungLim, saying that KwangHee is “an idol with a bright future in variety shows.”
“Honestly, because I am a rookie, I didn’t know much. The atmosphere was awkward when I would participate on variety shows after debuting. But after others began to remember my face, they began to take care of me. Kang HoDong takes care of me the most. I have been getting the love of Super Junior members, Kim JiSun, Jo HyeRun, Kim JongMin, Chun MyungHoon, Seo InYoung, and other PD’s (laughs).”
With an innocent smile, KwangHee couldn’t help but thank Kim JongMin for buying him food once. “By the end of the year 2010, I will make an effort to make it so the name Hwang KwangHee, as well as ZE:A, is not forgotten. We really have not been able to show all we’ve got, so we hope we will get more chances in the future to become the best rookies.”
Look out for more Hwang KwangHee, the boy with a big personality and loud laughter, as he grows this year as an entertainer and singer.

ZE:A’s KwangHee Star Diary Part 1: The Cheerleader With Many Talents
Posted by Venus Warrior at 6:08 AM
With a great energy, ZE:A’s KwangHee begins his interview enthusiastically. The boy who wants to be just like 2AM’s Jokwon on variety shows, has the ability to turn an awkward atmosphere into a peaceful one as he begins speaking.
KwangHee began by revealing his life’s motto, “Living a life smiling gives other people happiness,” said the one who brings life into the group. Even though he’s only sitting down, his talents seems to spill out of him. “You have many talents, right?” SBS’s Star King MC Kang HoDong had once asked him.
Ever since he was a child, KwangHee discovered that he had many hidden talents. “I got rid of it now, but before our debut, I kept in contact with my elementary school friends via minihompy messengers. They would tell me that they knew I would become a celebrity.”
Even in his elementary school KwangHee was known for being the humorous and witty one amongst his group of friends. It was his cheerful personality that made it easy for him to have such a large group of friends. “All throughout elementary, middle, and high school, I would never miss a talent show. I think this is when my vague dream of wanting to become a singer sparkled. I really liked how my friends would cheer me on when I took the stage.”
His official training as a singer began when he was in high school. Even though he had voice and dance practice, he didn’t get lazy with his studies. It was after joining the school’s cheer squad that KwangHee was able to show off his talents to the school. “I clearly remember cheering on the baseball team on the day of a game. While I was flailing my arms around to Wax’s ‘I’ll Give You All My Love’, a lot of people around me would tell me that I should become an idol.”
At this point, KwangHee only had a vague idea that he wanted to become an idol singer. Due to how unsure he was about his decision, he didn’t have the confidence to actually go to any auditions. But it seems like luck was on KwangHee’s side as a rare chance soon came to him. He found out about a school uniform modeling contest and decided to participate. Out of 6,000 participants only 100 were to be chosen. KwangHee made it as far as the second audition. “I was allowed an interview in the second audition, but I met the person that was in first place. That was my first meeting with JunYoung. After more deliberation, only 15 were chosen to continue, among those 15 were JunYoung and I.”
After making it into the top 15, KwangHee gained a surge of confidence. JunYoung and KwangHee became close friends after going to the fashion show together and finding out that they had many common interests. Even though they were under different managements at that time, the two had no idea that they were working towards making their same dream come true.
“[My life] was really hectic. Seeing how I continued attending school after being accepted in Star Empire, and having to constantly train.”
“After getting used to it, I wondered how nice it would be if I could practice together with JunYoung. I honestly wanted to be in the same group with him. So I brought JunYoung. Even when I think about it now, I think I did the right thing. I was a trainee for five years, and JunYoung was a good supporter. Two is better than one.”
Even though at that point his future wasn’t clear, it seems like all the sweat and tears have now paid off. The hardships he had experienced before his debut have allowed KwangHee to grow.
