Secret member Sunhwa reveals her unique sleeping habits on September 15th episode of We Got Married during their first honeymoon with ZE:A's Kwanghee. While checking their new house which is located in We Got Married village, the couple lied down on their bed together.

Sunhwa suddenly reveals, "When I sleep, I grind my teeth. Kwang Hee answered, "I hate people like that." She added, "I also kicked in the face when I'm sleeping. Actually, I kicked Hyosung in the face last time." The episode is anticipating since this is the first appearance of the new couple - MBLAQ's Lee Joon and actress Oh Yeon Seo.

At the end of the April 23rd broadcast of KBS’s “100 Points out of 100“, a preview of next week’s special episode was revealed. In the preview, it looks like idol members from B2ST, MBLAQ, 4minute, T-ara, Dalmatian, Secret, Block B, ZE:A, and more are coming together for “The National Idol Star Sports Festival”.

The idols will compete in several challenges such as pull-ups, sit-ups, rollerblade races, and the classic footrace. Park Myung Soo, Lee Gwang Yong, Kim Tae Hyun, and Kim Shin Young will be acting as the commentators, which will add a fun and witty twist to the show.

Fans have shown much interest in the past during the special Chuseok and Lunar New Year episodes of MBC’s “Idol Athletics Championship“. Although this is a much smaller scale to the holiday specials, fans are, nonetheless, showing much anticipation for this episode.

This episode is scheduled to air on Saturday, April 30th, so be sure to check it out to see idols compete in rigorous physical challenges. Until then, you can check out the preview below!

Recently, wax figures of the 9 membered boy group ZE:A displayed at the international fair is gaining increasing attention from the public.

According to ZE:A’s management company on the 20th, wax figures of these 9 idol members can be viewed at the Yeosu Global SFX Congress 2010 event. It is said that these wax figures were created in order to promote and symbolize ZE:A as the chosen representatives for this event.

Idol group ZE:A stated about the event, “It is an honor for us to represent the world’s first international special effects fair. Through these wax figures that look like us, we hope that many people become aware of the different kinds of special effects that are used in movies and dramas.”

The Yeosu Global SFX Congress 2010 fair continues until the 21st.

I recently reported that ZE:A would be traveling to Taiwan as they were invited by the Taiwan Tourism Bureau as goodwill ambassadors.
Their 6-day promotional tour to Taiwan is slowly coming to an end as they will be flying back to Korea tomorrow, August 17th. However, while staying there, the boys participated in tons of activities with regards to the Taiwanese culture and they were even joined by one of Taiwan’s hottest boy groups, Fahrenheit, yesterday for a trip to the Xing Tian Gong temple.

Fahrenheit welcomed ZE:A and introduced them to what was usually done in temples, as well as how the Taiwanese go about traditions like praying with incense sticks for good fortune. Fahrenheit also told the boys to have the old ladies of the temple conduct a ceremony called Shou Jing on them. To put it simply, this certain ceremony allows the so-called Yin and Yang of the body to be restored in its original form for a person to have a “balanced” soul. After which, ZE:A visited Taipei 101 to have their foot massages. They also came to love the Taiwanese delicacy, Run Bing, and the local ground peanuts.

There will be a 2-part documentary including footage to be shown on Mnet in the near future. It’s really nice to see two countries joining hands to promote one another.

DongJoon is gaining tremendous popularity among Thais transgenders.

DongJoon said, "We've returned from promotion in Thailand. If I were to say the differences between Thais and Korean fans, there are many transgender fans there." "They are so pretty and very girlish. They called me 'Oppa', then they told me they are transgenders" he added, smiling.

On the other hand, he revealed "There is this Chinese fan boy, he sends me a frog as a present everyday." "Of course they are not living frogs but they are pens, spoons and other things, all frog-shaped. He sends it everyday", he conveyed. "Of course I'm thankful because he thinks of me, but receiving a frog everyday makes me curious what's the meaning behind those presents."

JunYoung told us about the leader's difficult point: "There's no particular difficult point, we all get along well before we knew it the hyungs didn't had dongsaeng anymore. (laugh) Seeing that our dongsaengs sometimes eat their hyungs up it became a habit so we had to put a limit. Plus, listening to all nine persons feeling is a bit tiring. So it's good that the members are really reliable."

We hear a lot that JunYoung looks a lot like DBSK's ex-member 'Micky Yoochun' it became a hot topic. "I myself like this senior. I'm really honored, because it was an opportunity to make me a bit more known I'm honored. From now on I won't look like Micky Yoochun but I'll show only Moon JunYoung's charms. If I personally meet the group, I want to ask if they heard about the look-a-like picture who became an issue."

With maknae DongJun he appeared on the last 'Mnet scandal', it became the center of discussion, they had one women for two so when we asked if the competitiveness was for real he said: "We simply showed a confrontation with DongJun as a hyung I had to do a concession. But, if he stole my girlfriend I wouldn't forgive him."

JunYoung added: "I can give everything, I'm absorbed in though relationship style so it seems that I can't date easily. If I had an ideal type, she would have a nice skin, and be lively, I like courteous women. If it has to be a TV actress hum... Kim SoYeon senior from the drama ? I liked a lot the cameo appearance. From when I was young I was a fan, she knew all the 9 members name I was really shocked. TaeHun. He usually liked sports, he has the rank of 'Body jjang star', he said: "Because I started to do sports and eat chicken breasts I learned how to use Rain senior's 'Kettle Bell'. I succesfully lost 12kg thanks to this but even so I didn't starve. I have the habit of doing sports constantly so I'm really happy."

In all the people you know you don't have any idol you're close too? "That's because I'm not allowed to use a cellphone or to have a minihompy... but, I want to get close to 'C.N Blue''s Jung Yonghwa. In the past when he thought about his deceased parents, he said that if he becomes a singer he'll come to their graves and will read them the news. "My heart really hurt, when I searched 'Children of Empire' on internet I read a lot of comments, they made an issue about my deceased parents, I was hurt by these comments. If I received words with a nice meaning it would be good.".

TaeHun want to receive the Rookie of the Year award at the end-of-year music awards. Plus, he said that his goal was to someday personally write the lyrics for Children of Empire's album and do the producing.

SiWan said about his sincere school days image and his memories of changing dream "I wasn't in a situation where I could change even a small thing. I could only dream of escaping, I wished I could go on trip oversea. I was tired of Korea's hasty culture, and seeing foreign countries' peaceful cultures, I was longing for it."

For this third single, SiWan who took the role of visual director said "I didn't thought I had a lot of talents. I worked hard on everything because I had to reach various stages to get my dream of being singer completed, one day I'll be successful as a singer and after that I want to try to challenge another work field."

He said that the most difficult thing about this album was to understand the nine people diversity. "On stage we have an unified image, it seems that put on relief each member charms was the most difficult. And now like every day we're putting efforts in it, haha!"

His biggest goal is to get the Rookie of the Year award. SiWan's dream is not only to get their music known in Korea but also oversea.

If you got to win on the TV show you could make a donation of a trophy made of 50 don* of pure gold to needy neighbours, DongJun said: "I don't worry about it I'll donate. If I get the possibility to help then I want to win this prize. From when I was young I had this weird feeling to help, with the friends from my neighbourhood we went to ill person's house and did the cleaning. It was a small thing but when I got to hear "Thank you" I wanted to do it again... Is it in my genes? (laugh)"

Especially on variety show, DongJun has to use his body a lot which is a bit worrying. "I'm not tired at all. I still enjoy it. I couldn't become an athlete. I could play with my feet at football well but I was a bit weak at playing with my hands at basketball, haha!"

You have been the assistant team leader... "My role was only to repeat what some hyungs said to other hyungs. However, KwangHee hyung always take what I say like jokes and it's really irritating." What if you become the leader? "Me as a leader? As soon as I'll become the leader the team will just be destroyed. (laugh) But I'm not the assistant leader so I'll only do maknae things so please understand me, hehe!"

Maknae DongJun trademark is his winning spirit. "This seems to be the most important. I just naturally have to have the control, if not then I'll think "what am I able to do then?""

HyungShik is a professional to do 'the innocent face that tricks the hyungs'. "One day after finishing the schedule, we were all tired and were going back to our dorm then I lied and said: "Hyungs! I heard manager hyung say that we had to go at the training hall to practice!" (laugh) The hyungs get easily tricked they're silly, SiWan hyung trust my lies the most, sometimes when they think my lies are the truth I'm really proud of myself."

Is there a member from an idol group you're close to? "In fact during the filming of I got close to all the members of F.Cuz, DNA (The BOSS) and MBLAQ, but since our schedules don't match with theirs we can't ordinary call each others, so we only meet at music show's waiting room. And they don't seem to get tricked so easily. I must not look that innocent when I lie then. (laugh)"

HyungShik who entered university some times ago with DongJun said: "Sometimes my brother talks about student life and it makes me really envious. At the company we often go to the workshop but still I wish I could enjoy my student life."

HyungShik wants ZE:A to be an unforgettable group to the others singers and said a bit greedily that he wanted to receive the Rookie of the Year award. "If we receive the Rookie of the Year award, I think I would only cry. And if I don't, maybe I shouldn't show it?"

Because of their title song 'Separation Drip' we asked Children of Empire's main vocal Kevin if he already had a painful separation and he replied: "I never had a big sorrow. Plus to separate you have to be a bit grown up, even if I don't have any experiences but I can't lie to the other one to break up."

He's from Australia and said that the most difficult thing in Korea is the system. "Since I was adapted to Australian culture when I first came in Korea I had a lot of difficulties with the system. Now with some efforts I'm overcoming it."

Do you understand the feelings of your fellows idols that come from foreign countries like Nicole, Bekha and Amber? "We all give understanding and consideration to each other, we can't keep asking "how can I overcome that?" and think that there's only our group when there's people that lived the same experience."

Your mother did in the past some singer activities too, as a senior does she give you some tips? "She said that there was going to be a lot of difficult things. I've grown up in Australia, and since I've went through adolescence I just naturally made efforts to stand up. My mom always gives me some good advices."

This year's wish for Kevin is to make Children of Empire a group that receive more recognition from the others singers. "I want that each member's talent get recognized. I just want to work hard to give my best, haha!"

The 9 handsome men (JunYoung, SiWan, Kevin, TaeHun, HeeChul, MinWoo, HyungShik, DongJun) are performing on one stage. The fangirls who each have a style of men they like seem to be cheering for their voices. From their predebut days to their exceptionnal shows, they made a solid path, they were determined to make Asia's best idol group, after Children of Empire triumphal entry to the singers' world, at the middle of the year, there's already over 20'000 people at their official fan cafe.

Children of Empire already released their third single 'Separation Drip' and showed its teaser who has a wild 'racing' concept with a sporty look, which caught the attention of the fans. They're constantly receiving a lovecall from our whole country, Japan, Thailand, and all Asia's countries, plus on various variety show they showed off they talents and charms, they even received the nickname of 'variety-dol and are actually having busy activities.

"(DongJun) We have to work hard. So it seems that we got the nickname 'Efforts-dol'. Seeing that we have so much members, when were together our competition spirit grows, when something difficult happens or when we're worried, we help each others so we naturally make efforts to get well together. Children of Empire's passion is so touching that for their third digital single the compositior Park Geuntae revealed hisstrongs ambitions to "make them become Asia's best idol group". Plus, in this album the song 'Separation Drip' is not simply cute and innocent, the members personnality are put on relief with this strong track and it's even more refreshing to the fans.

"(Kevin) I don't want our group to become another simple idol group. My parents stayed faraway in Australia, I came alone in Korea with the decision to become singer but that wasn't an easy thing."

Children of Empire is not a group with mystical tendencies. Since 2006 they prepared themselves and did more than 50 gerilla concerts while doing a country tour and received the nickname 'Road-dol', thanks to their music and their perfomances they received recognition. This outcome means that they're no more rookies when they shed tears and sweat to do their perfomances.

"(JunYoung) I don't want to receive recognition only because of our faces. For this album we couldn't personnally take part in the producing but for the choreography we always showed new things to our dance professor. And for this album concept we wanted to show a really manly side so we learned martial arts from 'Julian Kang' and showed off the 'Kickdance'...We said that we had to do the best performance as rookies and we thought it was the best way to make it."

ZE:A, in Taiwan to promote themselves, have held an official press conference with local media there, according to their agency Star Empire Entertainment on Friday.

The nine-member boy band held a press conference at Taipei's Hyatt Hotel Grand Ballroom yesterday, speaking to some 50 media outlets about their overseas plans.

"The boys are currently in the country and are busy preparing for their showcase, other media interviews, fan meetings and autograph sessions," a PR official from Star Empire told 10Asia over the phone, adding that they will announce the dates for the events at a later time.

ZE:A, which stands for "Children of Empire" in Korean, made their debut last January with their first mini-album "Nativity" featuring the title track "Mazeltov." They released a follow-up album in April titled "Leap for Detonation" and recently unveiled their third single "Level Up."

The boys have been touring several countries in Asia with the support of Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA)'s program to support idol stars' careers overseas.

They were in Thailand in late-July and will continue to visit other countries including Singapore and Malaysia in September, the Philippines in October and Japan in November.

On August 9th, upcoming girl group Nine Muses, along with fellow Star Empire family group ZE:A, finished shooting for the KBS drama Marry Me. Both groups are due to make cameos on the show.

Similar to real life, the two groups took on the role of trainees who look to debut through a music company lead by Choi Hyun Wook (played by Ryu Tae Joon).

Through the drama, the girls of Nine Muses showcased their dancing skills, as they even revealed parts of the choreography of their debut single, No Playboy.

Nine Muses’ agency Star Empire stated, “During the girls’ busy days preparing for their debut, an opportunity came for them and ZE:A to get a chance to cameo for a drama, so we took it. [Through this drama] you will see new charms of the girls.”

You will be able to watch Nine Muses and ZE:A cameo on Marry Me’s 18th episode (August 15th broadcast).

Kevin who was previously down with stress-induced gastritis and food poisoning, assures fans that he is alright now with latest photo revealed.

ZE:A revealed photos taken backstage to KBS 2TV Music Bank on 6th August. Kevin was seen looking healthy again after he was absent for appearance on tvN ‘Music Show Newton’ on the 2nd as he was suffering from gastritis and food poisoning upon returning from the group’s Thai promotions.

There were also photos of him taken backstage on SBS Inkigayo on 8th August. The ZE:A boys were seen following Son DamBi’s dance and looking lively backstage.

Meanwhile, ZE:A is promoting their latest digital single ‘Level Up’.

ZE:A’s Dongjoon donated over $8000 (10,000,000 WON) to charity.

Where did he come up with all this money? Well, Dongjoon won the MVP title on MTV’s Idol United on the 7th. As a prize, he received a gold sneaker trophy which is worth over $8000.

With his athletic skills, he was able to beat out all the other idols in the competition, and he decided to donate all his winnings to a care facility in Suwon.

Dongjoon said, “I’m so happy I got the title of being the MVP. I’m also honored to be using the money for a good cause.”

He also said that he would use part of the money to get something for his members and fans.

Even if this was a publicity stunt, the money definitely went to a good cause, so hats off to Dongjoon!

Ghost Hunters (MBC Every1 12:10 PM) is a new program that collects strange stories and dig up the truth. Newcomer idol group Infinite will talk about a strange happening in their practice room while Norazo member, Leehyuk, will talk about a shadow he saw 14 years ago at a motel.

Infinite spoke about how if someone slept in their small practice room, they would be put in a scissor lock while Leehyuk said that the day after he saw the black shadow, there was a will written on the wall, what could be the reason. Idol group ZE:A (Children of Empire)’s Kim Dongjoon and Moon Junyoung are the MCs.

This is apparently a 3 episode summer special and the first episode is about ghosts met in the entertainment business and the first episode will air tomorrow with the rest following every Thursday at 12:10 PM on MBC Every1.
