First-generation idol stars advised 4minute‘s HyunA to keep her romantic relationships a private matter.

HyunA along with first generation idols S.E.S‘ Shoo, Baby VOX‘s Kan Mi Yeon, and solo artist So Yi made guest appearances on the June 7th broadcast of ‘Beatles Code 2‘. Expressing her envy of Super Junior‘s Shindong who had previously gone public with his relationship, HyunA remarked, “I want to date publicly, too.” But upon hearing this, So Yi sternly advised against it stating, “No, don’t. Reveal [your relationship] on the day of your wedding.” HyunA then explained the reason behind her desire to date openly. “You know how I have a very strong image? If I dated in secret, I think it will make it worse,” she said, unshaken by her seniors’ warnings. However, So Yi continued to oppose. “No, you should try not to get caught.” Shoo agreed with So Yi and added, “You’ll regret it later on.” Speaking of herself and fellow guest members Shoo and Kan Mi Yeon, So Yi continued, “We’ve never gone public with our relationships. Even when there were rumors of us dating, we’d deny it or reply with ‘no comment’.” This prompted Shindong to ask, “Then are you saying that the rumors back then were all true?” to which she replied, “There were some that were true and others that were completely false.”

Netizens are at it with yet another average graph for idols! This time, instead of height they have summarized the average weight of male idol groups and it has definitely caught the attention of fans.

The graph was uploaded on an online community board and sequences the average weight from lightest to the heaviest groups into five hilarious different category names: “Why am I living“, “No need for words“, “Not average“, “This is average“, and “Height and weight are proportional“.

The lightest group overall was TEEN TOP with 55.1kg and the heaviest were the ‘beast idols’ 2PM at 69.1kg.

Out of all the groups listed on the graph, the lightest overall member was TEEN TOP’s L.Joe weighing in at a flyweight-like 50kg with a height of 171cm.

After seeing the graph, fans commented, “Are they even eating?“, “I shall give you some of my fat“, and “I bet some of them will fly away when it gets windy.”

After reporting the average heights of K-pop groups, netizens have now averaged the age of idol boy groups.

The chart, posted on an online community board, displays the oldest group down to the youngest group by grouping them into five different categories.

According to the graph, Super Junior had the highest average age of 27.6, whereas TEEN TOP turned out to be the youngest boy group with an average age of 19.3.

In addition, the oldest member out of all the boy groups was Dalmatian‘s Inati at age 32 and the youngest was B.A.P‘s Zelo at age 17. (Keep in mind that these are all based on their Korean age)

Shinhwa, who’s currently preparing for their 14th anniversary with a 10th album comeback, has been chosen as the #1 role model by their fellow junior idol groups!

On March 5th, the group held a press conference that alerted their fans of their official return and expressed their gratitude on being chosen as a role model by so many idols. Previously, hit groups like Super Junior, Big Bang, 2PM, and TEEN TOP had named Shinhwa as a group they look up to, while SNSD‘s YoonA even stated, “Just like the longest lasting idol group, Shinhwa, I hope that our members will be together as we mature from girls into ajummas.”

Shinhwa expressed, “We’re so very thankful. We’re often told that it’s rare for a group to stay together for 14 years without any member changes in not only Korea, but the rest of the world. We’re going to work hard so that we can continue in Shinhwa’s image and repay the support everyone has given.”

Shinhwa will be making their official return on air through KBS‘s ‘Win Win‘ on March 8th.

With Lee Jun Ki recently being honorably discharged from the Korean military, netizens are becoming increasingly interested as to which other male celebrities will be discharged and return to the entertainment scene in 2012.

Lee Jun Ki who enlisted with the military back on May 3rd, 2010 served with the public relations department within the Ministry of National Defense. Once being discharged on February 16th, the actor immediately held a fan meet later that afternoon at Sang Myung University. The fan meet was the first event to kick off his comeback, and he was met with 2,000 of his fans who responded with explosive cheers to welcome him back.

There are a number of other celebrities who will be discharged from the military this year, including actor Lee Dong Gun who will return next month. Although Lee Dong Gun was still serving in the military, he signed with a new agency last year and plans to be active once being honorably discharged.

Actor Lee Wan will follow suit after Lee Dong Gun, as he will be discharged in April. He rose to fame after taking up a role in the hit 2003 drama, ‘Stairway to Heaven‘, garnering interest after he was revealed to be actress Kim Tae Hee‘s brother. Needless to say, fans are anxiously awaiting his activities to follow after his honorable discharge.

Kim Nam Gil is also looking forward to an honorable discharge this year. Kim Nam Gil who is working as a public service worker at the Gangnam-gu office in Seoul will be returning to the entertainment scene in July. Kim Nam Gil’s rise to fame occurred after ‘Queen Seondeok‘ in 2009, and he is already receiving offers for projects ahead of his discharge.

Kang Dong Won will also be honorably discharged this November. Kang Dong Won who is serving at the Research Institute of Public Health & Environment secured his place in the industry after taking on roles in ‘Secret Reunion‘ among other hit projects. Fans have been unavailable to keep up with Kang Dong Won as new information about the actor has not been shared, causing them to become more curious and anxious for his comeback.

Other celebrities to be discharged from the military this year include Kim Ji Seok, Kim Ji Hoon, Cho Han Sun, Park Hyo Shin, Super Junior‘s Kangin, Epik High‘s Mithra Jin, and more.

Fans are anxious to know how the stars will have changed after fulfilling their obligations in the military, and continue to hold high expectations for their return. Who are you most excited to see returning from the military?

MBLAQ‘s charming member, Lee Joon, has revealed a shocking truth about his past dating life.

Lee Joon participated in a recent recording for the upcoming MBC Lunar New Year’s special , ‘Pitter Patter Heartbeats‘, along with other celebrities like KARA‘s Han Seungyeon, After School‘s Lizzy, SISTAR‘s Hyorin, Park Hwi Soon, Lee Tae Sung, and Super Junior‘s Sungmin. While on the program, the stars shared stories about their varying degrees of loneliness.

KARA’s Seungyeon expressed, “I’m going to date this year. If I don’t, I’m going to rebel!” Hilariously, After School’s Lizzy agreed as she commented, “I feel like my dating-cells are slowly dying off.”

Super Junior‘s Choi Siwon shared a photo that he took in Taiwan with the PD along with his fellow cast member Donghae after wrapping up filming for the day.

The singer shared the above photo on his official Twitter page and wrote, “Finished activities in Taiwan. With my PD at a Shabu Shabu restaurant.”
He added, “A lot of people call him fang ge (Brother Fang), but I call him Fang Ba (Father Fang)! Everybody say Fang!”

Super Junior‘s Eunhyuk revealed a hilarious scene featuring the Super Junior members in a cramped waiting room of KBS‘s ‘Gayo Festival‘.

On December 30th, he tweeted, “Either the waiting room is small or the sofa isn’t enough or there are a lot of members…are you watching, KBS?”

In the picture, it seems that the Super Junior members are trying to catch a few minutes of sleep after their busy days, but unfortunately either due to the lack of sofas, or too many members, as Eunhyuk joked, the members are seen sleeping piled on top of one another.

Super Junior's Leeteuk and Eunhyuk will be stepping down as hosts of the radio show "Kiss The Radio" on KBS. On a press release sent by KBS today, its said that the two will step down from the program this coming Sunday, after hosting the show for the past five years.

According to the press release, Leeteuk and Eunhyuk will be leaving the show due to their hectic group and individual schedules.

Aside from their upcoming world tour "Super Show 4", Leeteuk also participate in a number of entertainment programs. Meanwhile, Eunhyuk is also busy with the musical "Fame", which started its production run last week.

Fellow Super Junior members Sungmin and Ryeowook will be replacing the Leeteuk and Eunhyuk in the show.

On February 1st, Super Junior’s Leeteuk guested on SBS’s “Strong Heart” and revealed the secrets behind how each member is positioned.

He explained that member Choi Si Won was in centre for a very important reason. “When Si Won stands in the center, it gives the illusion that all Super Junior members look handsome.”

MC Kang Ho Dong then asked Shindong whether he’d like to stand center, to which he replied, “When I saw Jung Won Kwan of ‘Fire Truck,’ I realized that first impressions are very important. If I stood in the center, Super Junior would just turn into a ‘fat group.’”

Leeteuk added, “The center isn’t always the best position though. In album jacket photos, because we have 13 members, the center stands where the jacket folds. Centers are positioned well in groups with only five to six members, but not in big groups like us.”

Doojoon, the leader of six member group B2ST, gave his own opinion by expressing, “Our choreographer positions us so that such concerns don’t arise. In our choreography, we stand in a circle without any center, so that every mother could spot their son.”

Following Super Junior’s successful gig Super Show 3 which took place at the Seoul Olympic Park on the 14th and 15th, Shindong and Heechul and been garnering much interest with their beautiful feminine looks.

The two both tweeted pictures of themselves with Heechul resembling Lady Gaga, and Shindong resembling a fine woman.
